Here is the '3 french hens' Christmas card at last! I'm gradually working my way through the 12 days, but not in sequential order. Each year around October, I get an idea in my head about which of the 12 days I want to do that year, then start drawing out ideas for the card design, in keeping with the previous ones. I enjoy doing something very Victorian-looking: years ago I worked for Smythson, and had a wonderful time looking through the scrapbooks they had kept of old Victorian and Edwardian cards.
